Ingredients

  • turkey parts (wings, giblets, neck parts, etc.)
  • 3 sticks celery
  • 3 onions
  • 6 cups crumbled cornbread
  • 3 cups crumbled biscuits
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook turkey parts such as wings, giblets, and neck.
  2. Remove meat from the cooked turkey parts.
  3. Save the juice for dressing and giblet gravy. Use the neck for gravy; wings and other parts for dressing.
  4. Cut up celery and onions.
  5. Mix celery, onions, crumbled cornbread, and crumbled biscuits in a bowl.
  6. Add poultry seasoning, salt, pepper, and the turkey juice to the mixture.
  7. Transfer all ingredients into a greased glass baking dish.
  8. Make the mixture soupy by adding extra turkey juice or broth as needed.
  9. Bake at 400°F for 1 hour until done.
