Ingredients

  • 3 slices bread
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound ground hamburger
  • 1 can tomato soup

Instructions

  1. Combine milk, bread, chopped onion, egg, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add ground hamburger to the mixture and mix thoroughly.
  3. Form the mixture into patties, which will be very moist.
  4. Brown the meat patties in a skillet.
  5. Place the browned patties into a casserole dish.
  6. Pour tomato soup over the meatballs.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 45 minutes.
