Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 tsp. turmeric
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • fresh tomatoes
  • onion

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. Put the ground beef in a large bowl.
  3. Fold in the egg, water, turmeric, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Keep folding until the mixture becomes slightly stiff.
  5. Flatten the mixture at the bottom of a large baking pan.
  6. Top with quartered tomatoes and sliced onions.
  7. Sprinkle some turmeric on top.
  8. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes until cooked through.
