Barbecue Flat Jacks combine savory ground beef, barbecue sauce, and melted cheese on a biscuit crust, perfect for casual gatherings and quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 1 can Hungry Jack biscuits
  • 1 c. shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  2. Add barbecue sauce and Tabasco sauce (if using); simmer until heated through.
  3. Separate the Hungry Jack biscuits into 10 pieces and place in an ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.
  4. Press the dough together to form a crust covering the bottom of the pan.
  5. Spread the cooked meat mixture evenly over the dough.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the meat layer.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) until the crust is golden brown, about 20 minutes.
