Ingredients
- 3 lb. boneless beef ⓘ
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce ⓘ
- 1/2 cup water ⓘ
- 1/4 cup vinegar ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons dry mustard ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons white sugar ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar ⓘ
- 2 slices onion
- 1 teaspoon chili powder ⓘ
- 1/8 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper ⓘ
- 1/2 green pepper ⓘ
- 1 can mushrooms ⓘ
- pinch of garlic ⓘ
Instructions
- Cook the beef at 475°F for 20 minutes.
- Reduce the oven temperature to 325°F and cook for 3 to 4 hours until the meat is tender.
- Optional: Thicken the sauce slightly if desired.
- Shred the cooked meat and serve over buns.
