Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lb. pork ribs
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 bottle or more barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare ribs by removing excess fat, washing, and patting dry with paper towels.
  2. Place ribs in a baking pan; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Cover with chopped onions and chopped celery.
  4. Sprinkle Worcestershire sauce over the ribs.
  5. Bake in a 325°F oven until tender, approximately 1 1/2 hours.
  6. Drain fat from the pan and pour half a bottle or more of barbecue sauce over the ribs.
  7. Return to the oven for 30 minutes, basting occasionally, then remove and serve.
