Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 bay leaves, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup hot pepper (fresh or canned)
  • 3 tablespoons liquid smoke
  • 1 large onion, sliced

Instructions

  1. Saute 2 chopped onions in butter; do not brown.
  2. Add all other ingredients except liquid smoke and sliced onion.
  3. Simmer for 30 minutes.
