- Roll the dough in remaining walnuts to coat.
- Wrap in waxed paper and chill overnight.
- Slice the dough into 1/4-inch thick slices.
- Bake on an ungreased baking sheet at 400°F (200°C) for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Transfer cookies to a rack to cool.
