Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 can red kidney beans
  • 1/2 pound pork
  • 1 cup corn
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • additional beans

Instructions

  1. Fry bacon until crisp and remove from the pan.
  2. Brown chopped onion and green pepper in the bacon drippings.
  3. Add cooked bacon, red kidney beans, pork, corn, ketchup, chili powder, and Worcestershire sauce to the pan.
  4. Pour the mixture into a 4-quart casserole dish.
  5. Bake, covered, at 350°F for 50 to 60 minutes.
