Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 2 big onions, chopped
  • 2 big green peppers, chopped
  • 2 (1 qt.) cans tomatoes
  • 2 cans tomato sauce with mushrooms
  • 4 cans red kidney beans
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger, onions, and peppers in a large skillet.
  2. Put tomatoes in a blender to liquify.
  3. Add all ingredients to a large pot.
  4. Simmer the chili for 1 1/2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
