Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 (16 oz.) can butter beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon wet mustard

Instructions

  1. Cut bacon into 1-inch pieces and brown with ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet.
  2. Drain off the grease from the meat mixture.
  3. Drain the butter beans, pork and beans, and kidney beans from their cans.
  4. Combine the drained beans with brown sugar, catsup, vinegar, salt, and wet mustard.
  5. Stir the bean mixture into the beef-bacon-onion mixture.
  6. Transfer everything to a casserole dish and bake at 350°F for 40 minutes.
