Ingredients

  • 1/2 package sage and onion dressing
  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can mushrooms (optional)

Instructions

  1. Put the sage and onion dressing in a bowl with 1 cup hot water, cover, and let stand.
  2. Brown the ground beef with chopped celery and onion without adding salt.
  3. Spread the cream of chicken soup in the bottom of a casserole dish.
  4. Add the cooked meat and vegetable mixture on top of the soup.
  5. Spread the prepared dressing over the meat layer.
  6. Add 1/2 cup water to the cream of celery soup and pour over the entire casserole.
  7. Optional: add mushrooms before baking.
  8. Bake uncovered at 350°F (175°C) for 50 to 60 minutes.
