Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
  • 1/2 c. uncooked long grain rice
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 2 Tbsp. green pepper
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup
  • 3 beef bouillon cubes

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, brown the ground beef and drain off excess fat.
  2. Stir in 4 cups of water, the dry onion soup, and remaining ingredients.
  3. Bring to boiling over medium-high heat.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Stir occasionally during cooking.
