- Brown the ground beef in a frying pan; drain excess fat.
- Add tomato sauce, minced onion, Italian seasoning, and salt to the beef.
- Simmer uncovered, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes.
- Separate the biscuits into individual pieces.
- Place each biscuit in the bottom and up the sides of a greased muffin pan.
- Spoon the meat mixture into each biscuit cup.
- Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese on top of each filled biscuit.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10 to 12 minutes until golden.
