Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp. minced onion
  • 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 pack biscuits (10 in pack)
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a frying pan; drain excess fat.
  2. Add tomato sauce, minced onion, Italian seasoning, and salt to the beef.
  3. Simmer uncovered, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes.
  4. Separate the biscuits into individual pieces.
  5. Place each biscuit in the bottom and up the sides of a greased muffin pan.
  6. Spoon the meat mixture into each biscuit cup.
  7. Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese on top of each filled biscuit.
  8. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10 to 12 minutes until golden.
  9. Serve warm.
