Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Kraft macaroni and cheese dinner
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup Kraft thick-n-spicy barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Kraft macaroni and cheese dinner as directed on the package.
  2. Combine the remaining ingredients: ground beef, bread crumbs, barbecue sauce, salt, chopped onion, and beaten egg. Mix lightly.
  3. Press the meat mixture evenly onto the bottom of an 8-inch square baking dish.
  4. Spread the prepared macaroni and cheese evenly over the meat layer.
  5. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove the cover and continue baking for another 20 minutes.
  7. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
