Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean beef (round steak)
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 c. celery, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 pkg. frozen Italian cut green beans
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 4 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. soy sauce
  • 4 1/2 oz. jar sliced mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Cube the beef and brown it in salad oil in a skillet.
  2. Add chopped onion, celery, and bell pepper; cook until browned.
  3. Mix water, cornstarch, and soy sauce; add to the skillet.
  4. Add the mushrooms and green beans; cook for 10 to 12 minutes or until the beans are done, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve over cooked Minute rice.
