Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 6 oz. pkg. egg noodles
  • 3 c. tomato juice
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. sour cream

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger and chopped onion in oil.
  2. Pour the uncooked egg noodles over the beef and onion mixture.
  3. Mix together tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, water, and sour cream.
  4. Pour this mixture over the noodles.
  5. Cook for 30 to 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve with a green salad.
