Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 teaspoons dry minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seed
  • 12 oz beer
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Stir in the beer until the mixture is moist.
  3. Pour the batter into a well-greased loaf pan.
  4. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 50 minutes.
  5. Pour melted butter over the loaf and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy.
