A creamy, comforting chicken casserole topped with crispy crushed chips, perfect for family dinners or casual gatherings with savory flavors and a crunchy topping.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 c. chopped celery
  • 3/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • crushed potato chips

Instructions

  1. Mix cooked and cubed chicken breasts, chopped celery, mayonnaise, lemon juice, sliced mushrooms, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.
  2. Transfer the mixture into a casserole dish and spread evenly.
  3. Pour the cream of chicken soup over the chicken mixture.
  4. Bake in a 300° oven for 30 minutes.
  5. During the last 5 to 10 minutes of baking, sprinkle crushed potato chips on top of the casserole and continue baking until crispy and golden.
