Ingredients

  • 1 quart sausage (fresh or canned)
  • 12 eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 4 cups bread, cubed
  • 1 1/2 cups grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Fry the sausage and drain off the fat.
  2. Beat the eggs in a bowl.
  3. Add milk, salt, and dry mustard to the eggs and mix well.
  4. Layer bread cubes, cooked sausage, and grated cheese in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the layered ingredients.
