Berry Krunch is a delightful layered dessert featuring strawberry ice cream, crunchy cereal topping, toasted coconut, and slivered almonds, perfect for summer gatherings and berry lovers.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups toasted coconut
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons slivered almonds
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 boxes frozen strawberries
  • 2 quarts strawberry ice cream

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except berries and ice cream.
  2. Put half of the mixture in a 9 x 13-inch pan and spread evenly.
  3. Press in slightly softened strawberry ice cream over the dry mixture.
  4. Top with the remaining dry mixture.
  5. Freeze until ready to serve.
  6. Add thawed berries on top before serving.
