Ingredients

  • 1 quart persimmons
  • 1 quart milk
  • 1 quart flour
  • 1/4 cup corn oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon butter flavoring

Instructions

  1. Mix persimmons, eggs, sugar, oil, vanilla, and butter flavoring in a bowl.
  2. Beat well with a mixer.
  3. Add 2 cups of milk and beat.
  4. Add 2 cups of flour and beat.
  5. Add another 2 cups of flour and beat, then add 2 cups of milk and beat slowly.
  6. Pour batter into 3 greased long baking dishes.
  7. Bake at 250°F (120°C) for 2 hours.
