Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean hamburger meat
  • 1 or 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 small to medium onion, chopped
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 2 small cans tomato sauce
  • 1 can water
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 8 oz. spaghetti

Instructions

  1. Brown the lean hamburger meat in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and chopped onion to the meat and cook until fragrant and translucent.
  3. Stir in tomato paste, tomato sauce, and water. Simmer the sauce for about 15 minutes.
  4. Add vinegar and sugar to the sauce and stir well.
  5. Cook spaghetti separately in boiling salted water according to package instructions.
  6. Drain the spaghetti and combine with the meat sauce.
  7. Serve hot, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
