Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion (med chopped)
  • 1 (28 ounce) can baked beans (Boston style)
  • 1 (16 ounce) can baked beans (Boston style)
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar (I use apple cider vinegar)
  • 1 - 1 1/2 cup ketchup

Instructions

  1. Brown beef with onions seasoned with salt and pepper until no longer pink. Drain. Mix in 2 cans of beans (undrained), sugar, vinegar and ketchup. Put in an ovenware dish, cover and bake for 1 hour at 350. I usually make this the day before and reheat to serve.
