Big Apple Pie

Instructions
- Measure 1 1/4 cups flour and 1 teaspoon salt into a bowl.
- Cut in 1/2 cup margarine with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse meal.
- Toss in 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese.
- Stir in ice water; mix lightly.
- Form dough into a ball on a floured board; roll dough to fit a 12-inch pizza pan.
- Transfer dough to the pan; form a 1/2 inch rim.
- Combine 1/2 cup light brown sugar, 1/4 cup flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.
- Sprinkle half of the mixture over the pastry.
- Cut 1/4 cup margarine into the remaining mixture until crumbly; set aside.
- Arrange 6 cups sliced, peeled apples in overlapping circles on pastry.
- Sprinkle with 2 teaspoons lemon juice and the crumb mixture.
- Bake at 425°F for 35 minutes or until apples are tender.
