Ingredients

  • 15 oz. box Raisin Bran
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 5 teaspoons baking soda
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 quart buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Combine Raisin Bran, raisins, flour, salt, cinnamon, baking powder, and baking soda in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Cream together oil and sugar, then add eggs and buttermilk; mix until well combined.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just moistened.
