Ingredients

  • 3 sticks margarine
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons soda
  • 6.5 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 package chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Mix margarine, oil, and vanilla until well combined.
  2. Add sugar to the mixture and blend thoroughly.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Combine dry ingredients (flour, soda, salt) separately, then add to wet mixture.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Drop batter by rounded teaspoonfuls onto baking sheet.
  7. Bake at 375°F for 12 minutes until golden brown.
