Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup prepared barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon instant minced onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 400° F.
  2. Grease 10 muffin cups.
  3. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet; drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in barbecue sauce, minced onion, and brown sugar.
  5. Cook for 1 minute to blend flavors, stirring constantly.
  6. Separate the refrigerated biscuits into 10 individual pieces.
  7. Place one biscuit in each greased muffin cup, pressing firmly into the bottom and up the sides to form a 1/4-inch rim.
  8. Spoon about 1/4 cup of the meat mixture into each biscuit-lined cup.
  9. Sprinkle each with cheese.
  10. Bake for 10 to 20 minutes or until the edges of the biscuits are golden brown.
  11. Cool for 1 minute, then remove from the pan.
