Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups crumbled biscuits
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup Bisquick
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large black skillet, melt the butter in the oven until completely melted.
  3. Remove the skillet from the oven and swirl around the butter so that the bottom and sides are covered.
  4. In a separate mixing bowl, combine all remaining ingredients and mix gently.
  5. Pour the mixture into the skillet with the melted butter.
  6. Do not stir.
  7. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes until the crust is golden.
  8. Serve plain or with vanilla ice cream. Transfer leftovers to an airtight container.
  9. Reheat in the microwave. Better the next day!
