Ingredients

  • 1 c. molasses
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 2/3 tsp. soda
  • 2/3 c. boiling water
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 3/4 tsp. baking powder

Instructions

  1. Mix boiling water
  2. and soda.
  3. Mix remaining ingredients together.
  4. Steam 1 1/2 hours.
  5. Serve with hard sauce.
