Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 c. black walnuts (no more)
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Cream butter, vanilla and brown sugar.
  2. Gradually add beaten eggs and cream until fluffy.
  3. Add walnuts.
  4. Combine flour, soda and salt; add 1/4 at a time.
  5. Roll and wrap dough; chill several hours or overnight.
  6. Slice and bake at 350° for 8 minutes.
