Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 3/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 tsp. vinegar
  • 12 soda crackers
  • 1 c. chopped black walnuts

Instructions

  1. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  2. Add baking powder and sugar to the egg whites, then add 3/4 teaspoon vinegar.
  3. Roll the soda crackers, not too fine, and add them to the mixture.
  4. Stir in the chopped black walnuts.
  5. Combine the mixture thoroughly and pour into a pie tin.
  6. Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 35 minutes.
  7. Serve with whipped cream.
