Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup margarine
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 cup apple juice concentrate
  • 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons granulated fructose
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 cups blackberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a 9 x 9-inch pan, melt the margarine and set aside.
  3. Combine flour and baking powder in a small bowl.
  4. Add 1/2 cup of apple juice concentrate, 1/4 cup of fructose, and water to the flour mixture.
  5. Mix well until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter over the melted butter in the pan.
  7. Sprinkle the blackberries evenly over the batter.
