Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 3 tablespoons margarine
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup oats

Instructions

  1. Cream the margarine and brown sugar until well blended.
  2. Add salt, baking soda, and flour to the mixture and mix well.
  3. Stir in oats until combined.
  4. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan to form a crust.
  5. Spread blackberry jam evenly over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining mixture over the jam as a crumb topping.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
