Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. white cake mix
  • 1 pkg. blackberry gelatin
  • 1 cup frozen blackberries (thawed) or fresh blackberries
  • 1 cup cooking oil
  • 1/2 cup cold milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 cup coconut

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Beat the mixture for 5 minutes at low speed.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until the cake comes away from the sides of the pan.
  5. Allow the cake to cool before frosting.
  6. Ice the cake with Blackberry Frosting.
