Ingredients

  • 2 oz Roquefort cheese
  • 4 ripe pears
  • 4 Tbsp cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1 oz butter
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of paprika

Instructions

  1. Peel and split the pears, then remove the cores.
  2. Allow the Roquefort cheese and butter to soften to room temperature.
  3. Mix the softened Roquefort cheese and butter until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk the cream with the cream cheese until it reaches a pourable consistency, adding a pinch of salt.
  5. Fill each pear with the creamy mixture.
  6. Place the pears on a bed of lettuce and pour the remaining cream mixture over them.
  7. Lightly sprinkle with paprika.
  8. Chill for 30 minutes before serving.
