  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl with a mixer at medium speed, beat butter, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy.
  3. Reduce speed to low, beat in flour just until combined.
  4. With fingers, press dough firmly onto the bottom of a 15 x 10 1/2 inch jelly roll pan to form the crust.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
  6. Cool slightly on a wire rack.
  7. While the crust bakes, prepare the blueberry filling.
