- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Spread the undrained crushed pineapple evenly over the bottom of the pan.
- Add a layer of blueberries on top of the pineapple.
- Sprinkle 3/4 cup of sugar over the blueberries.
- Spread the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the fruit layers.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.
- Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the top.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar over the nuts.
- Bake for 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and cut down to the bottom of the pan to let the juice rise.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
