Ingredients

  • 16 oz. small curd cottage cheese
  • 3 tsp. soda
  • 3/4 stick oleo or butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 4 Tbsp. canned evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. caraway seed

Instructions

  1. Add soda to cottage cheese; mix and let stand for 20 minutes.
  2. Melt oleo or butter and stir in flour.
  3. Add cheese and evaporated milk to the mixture.
  4. Cook on low heat until the cheese is melted and slightly thickened.
  5. Add caraway seed and stir well.
  6. Let cool and refrigerate before serving.
