Ingredients

  • 1 can pumpkin
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp mace
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, blend pumpkin, melted butter, cinnamon, ginger, mace, and ground cloves.
  2. Add white sugar, brown sugar, and eggs; mix well.
  3. Stir in milk, flour, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour mixture into the unbaked pie shell.
  5. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes.
  6. Reduce oven temperature to 325°F (160°C) and bake for an additional 45 minutes.
  7. Test with a toothpick for doneness; remove when it comes out clean.
