Ingredients

  • 2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans minced clams
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 4 cups half and half or milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Drain juice from the cans of minced clams.
  2. Pour the clam juice over the diced vegetables.
  3. Add enough water to cover the vegetables and simmer over medium heat until potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes.
