Served in a hollowed-out bread bowl, it offers warm, cheesy flavors perfect for gatherings, paired with bread cubes, crackers, or raw vegetables for dipping.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup solid pack pumpkin
  • 3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 1/2 oz. smoked sliced beef
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • dash hot pepper sauce
  • 10-inch round loaf bread (rye or pumpernickel)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except the bread in a mixing bowl.
  2. Hollow out the round loaf of bread, saving the top for later.
  3. Fill the hollowed-out bread with the mixed dip.
  4. Replace the bread top on the filled loaf.
  5. Wrap the entire bread loaf in aluminum foil.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 300°F (150°C) for 2 hours.
  7. Serve with bread cubes, crackers, or raw vegetables for dipping.
