Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 5 oz. water chestnuts, drained and chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. quick oats
  • 1 tsp. m.s.g.
  • 1/2 tsp. onion salt
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • dash of Tabasco sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Shape into very small balls (scant teaspoonfuls).
  3. Brown in shortening until cooked through and browned.
