- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a Bundt pan with Crisco and sprinkle ground nuts inside, avoiding the edges.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix with pudding, corn oil, and water. Mix well.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
- Beat on high speed for 6 to 8 minutes.
- Near the end of beating, add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and 1 teaspoon butter extract.
- Layer batter and ground nut mixture in the prepared pan three times, starting with the batter and ending with batter on top.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool on a rack for 8 minutes.
- Remove the cake from the pan while still warm and brush with glaze using a pastry brush, applying all the glaze evenly.
