Tips & Substitutions

For a creamier texture, consider using ricotta cheese instead of cottage cheese. You can also add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor. If you prefer a gluten-free option, substitute the butterfly noodles with gluten-free pasta. Adjust the seasoning with fresh herbs such as dill or parsley for a fresh touch. This dish can be made ahead of time and baked when ready to serve.

Serving Suggestions

Kase Kneple pairs beautifully with a fresh salad, such as a Thousand Island Salad, to balance the creamy texture of the dish. You can serve it alongside roasted vegetables or a light protein, like grilled chicken or fish, for a complete meal. Garnish with extra green onions or a sprinkle of paprika for added color and flavor.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, cover the casserole with aluminum foil to prevent drying out, and warm it in a preheated oven at 350°F until heated through, about 20-25 minutes. It can also be microwaved in portions for a quicker reheating option.
