Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Pepperidge Farm frozen puff pastry
  • 1 lb Brie cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced and toasted almonds
  • 1/4 cup parsley chopped
  • 1 egg beaten with 1 teaspoon water

Instructions

  1. Thaw the puff pastry for 20 minutes.
  2. On a floured surface, roll the pastry to a 15-inch circle.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Slice the Brie cheese in half horizontally.
  5. Layer the sliced Brie with toasted almonds and chopped parsley.
  6. Reassemble the Brie and place it in the center of the pastry.
  7. Brush the pastry edges with the beaten egg wash.
  8. Pull up the sides of the pastry to enclose the Brie, sealing the edges.
  9. Place the sealed pastry seam side down on an ungreased baking sheet.
  10. If desired, decorate the top with pastry scraps.
  11. Brush the top with egg wash.
  12. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  13. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
