A flavorful Italian-inspired broccoli dish featuring garlic, Parmesan cheese, and a quick broil for a delicious side perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 3 pkg. frozen broccoli spears
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Partly defrost the frozen broccoli spears.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter.
  3. Cut the garlic clove in half and sauté until golden. Remove the garlic.
  4. Spread the broccoli in a single layer in the pan.
  5. Saute, turning gently, for about 10 minutes or until tender.
  6. Arrange the broccoli in a flameproof serving dish.
  7. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  8. Place under the broiler for about 1 minute until cheese is melted and bubbly.
