Ingredients

  • 1 large bunch broccoli, cooked
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • pesto
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb. pasta (rigatoni, spirals, etc.)
  • grated Parmesan or Romano

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add the cooked broccoli to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in the pesto and cook for another minute to combine flavors.
  6. Mix in the cooked pasta and toss until well coated.
  7. Sprinkle grated Parmesan or Romano cheese on top before serving.
  8. Optional: Combine dried parsley, basil, and garlic powder for an extra herb boost and sprinkle over the dish.
