Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/2 lb. broccoli
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Pour vegetable oil into a skillet and heat over medium.
  2. Slice garlic cloves into thin pieces.
  3. Add olive oil and sliced garlic to the skillet.
  4. Saute garlic until golden brown, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon.
  5. Remove garlic from the skillet and discard.
