Ingredients

  • 10 oz. frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg
  • stuffing mix
  • margarine

Instructions

  1. Cook broccoli according to package directions, omitting the salt, then drain thoroughly.
  2. Place cooked broccoli in a 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup and shredded Cheddar cheese.
  4. Add milk, mayonnaise, and beaten egg to the soup and cheese mixture, stirring until well blended.
  5. Pour the soup mixture over the broccoli in the baking dish.
  6. Combine margarine with stuffing mix to moisten.
  7. Spread the stuffing mixture over the soup and broccoli layer.
  8. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 35 to 45 minutes or until bubbly and crumbs are lightly browned.
